Where are you now? This is a question you may ask yourself from time to time. It has often helped me to be able to bring awareness and attention to the state that I am in and to consciously acknowledge it. Just by asking the question brings us into present time. But, don’t take my word for it try for yourself and see what happens.
Pay attention to what you feel when you ask “Where am I now?” Notice if you want to brush away the feelings, notice if you want to get rid of them, notice that you feel the need to do anything at all about the feelings. This simple act can help you become more present and aware of your mood swings and changeability of your state of being throughout the day. Be gentle and as non-judgmental as possible with yourself.
